It’s certainly been an arduous and trying last three years.
Have you returned to some level of normalcy? Have you started doing the things you like to do?
It’s been slow for me, but it is getting back to normal slowly, but surely.
Take it easy on yourself. It isn’t a sprint, it’s a marathon. Take the time to take care of yourself while helping others, when you can.
Volunteering is a great way to begin again. Fills that sense of giving.
As I restart my life, I was recently was reminded of the Golden Rule. Do you remember when society used to remind us of that rule. “Don’t forget the Golden Rule”….”Make sure you apply the Golden Rule”…”Are you living by the Golden Rule?”
It seemed to be a part of our psyche. Not so much anymore.
“In everything, do to others what you would have them do to you. . . .” – Bible verse
“Whatever is disagreeable to yourself, do not do unto others” – Buddhism
“Do not do to others what would anger you if done to you by others” – Socrates
“What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others” – Confucianism
There are more. It seems all want you to treat your neighbor well.
And it seems to me to be a good approach to life.
Just a little reminder from—–The Reins Of Life.
