America is a land of drivers and commuters. We hop in our vehicle, grab a train or bus and we’re off. Nothing wrong with that. This is a great land with lots to discover, experience and explore.
However, there is something to be said for staying put every once in awhile, as well as making those trips we take local.
Going to the local store, the local park, the local waterfront…experiencing a local fair,or just as appealing, a local restaurant or other eatery has its benefits.
It is that short trip that draws us into the benefits of where we sleep and live, with what is within “arm’s reach” to make living easy.
We don’t have to go far to have an experience…we don’t have to travel a distance to get our groceries…we don’t have to spend a day traveling to a recreation area to have some fun.
It’s all right here…in our “backyard.”
The time traveling is minimized, and the convenience and enjoyment is maximized.
Removed is the chaos of travel with its traffic, and at times, endangerment and risk.
Replaced is a short jaunt along with savings on gas, time and energy.
What you will find is what is added is a completion to the location you live in.
Value is added to your quality-of-life experience.
Enjoyment is ushered in to the atmosphere of your life because getting to where you are going is not an arduous task of driving and time spent away from your residence, as well as money spent when you might otherwise have saved.
But rather, a short, concise use of your time and money so your home life is not compromised, but complimented.
